On 15 October, the Director of the Visegrad Fund, Ms Linda Kapustová Helbichová, and the Deputy Minister of Culture, Mr Michal Šašek, presented the International Visegrad Award to Marton Naray and Monika Klementová from the SoundCzech Institute of Arts - Theatre Institute's music export office.

The prize was awarded to the SoundCzech Music Export Office for the long-term initiation of international exchange and cooperation within the Visegrad countries, targeting professionals from the music scene. With SoundCzech's support, they have had the opportunity to participate in major festivals and shows worldwide, including prestigious events in the region such as Sharpe. SoundCzech also initiated the ProVisit programme to Poland and Slovakia and is planning Hungary. The office is also working on building and strengthening strategic connections to create more interactions between the V4 countries. These activities include the CEEntral party platform, a meeting and networking place for V4 and Central European countries at major music events, which SoundCzech initiated.

SoundCzech music agency aims to help Czech music abroad, regardless of musical genres. Established in 2017, it has been part of the Institute of Arts - Theatre Institute and funded by the budget of the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic. Within the framework of open calls, LinksOut office supports short-term trips of Czech dramaturgs, curators, music professionals to important festivals and professional events abroad. Within the ProVisit calls, SoundCzech seeks to effectively connect professionals in the music industry (music clubs, music festivals, booking agencies, labels, etc.). SoundCzech also continuously organizes workshops and mentoring sessions with leading Czech and international professionals on professional and current topics.

The International Visegrad Prize is awarded each year to one personality or institution for the promotion of Central European spirituality and achievements in cultural cooperation between the Visegrad countries. It is important that the winner's activities are linked to at least three Visegrad countries - through joint programmes and cooperation.
